AMY FOX received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University Long Beach in 2007. While Studying at CSULB she was a member of the Criminal Justice Student Association. Shortly thereafter she began working for Reed Zaic (formerly known as The Law Offices of Julia Reed Zaic) as an Assistant and Legal Administrator.

A. FOX was involved heavily in the Ketek® Litigation and provided assistance at every stage from pleadings, discovery and resolution. In the fall of 2007, FOX continued her education at Coastline Community College in the Paralegal Studies Program approved by the American Bar Association. She received her Paralegal Certificate in the spring of 2009.

A. FOX has experience assisting with generic and case specific discovery efforts. She has assisted with FDA document review, electronic document management and e-discovery issues, pharmaceutical and medical device adverse event source/complaint file discovery, research for pleadings, and deposition preparation of many corporate witnesses. She also prides herself on her ability to engage in close client relations and case-specific details of all litigation she’s assisted with including SSRI birth defects, Ortho-Evra, Actonel, Ketek, Yazmin, Medtronic, drug-eluting cardiac stents, and Chantix.

A. FOX also exhibits excellent administrative and office management skills. She took the lead on many administrative tasks as Reed Zaic acquired a new shareholder and grew to a bi-coastal law firm, Heaviside Reed Zaic, A Law Corporation where she last served as the lead paralegal for the freshly built firm. In 2012, A. FOX left the legal field for a new career in selling Orange County real estate.

Then in 2014, A. FOX began working for a consumer law firm in Laguna Beach. For over 4 years, A. FOX learned and practiced the various facets of consumer law and consumer protection. With a specialty in Lemon Law, A. FOX widened her experience in law, but continued to carry her desire to help find justice for those who have been wronged.

While at O’Connor Law Group, A. FOX was heavily involved in cases against the top vehicle manufacturers such as: Mercedes-Benz, BMW North America, FCA US (Chrysler Group), Ford Motor Company, Tesla, etc. Her contract included responsibilities such as potential client intake, third party discovery, communications with clients and opposing counsel, management of attorneys fees, costs and expenses, as well as assisting all attorneys with general discovery and trial assignments.

PHOTO ABOVE: One of the most valuable experiences A. FOX had the privilege of participating in was the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill investigation and litigation. She assisted in developing a science journal database related to contaminated water and its effects on life in water. A. FOX traveled to New Orleans on a couple separate occasions to assist with the database and was provided tours of the catastrophic land and water damage by way of boat and sea plane.
